Shipping policy
PROCESSING & SHIPPING TIME
Your order can take up to 3 to 5 business days (M-F) to be processed and shipped out. When your order is being prepared for shipment, you will receive an email notification that includes a tracking number for the shipment. It could still be a few hours before your shipment is picked up by the carrier, so please allow up to 24 hrs for the carrier tracking page to show an updated status and estimated delivery. If you have not received a tracking email within 5 business days (M-F) of your purchase, please contact us.
Within the U.S., once your order ships, it usually takes 5 to 10 days to arrive. The exact time depends on the warehouse we ship from, the ship-to location, the carrier delivery time, and the size of your order. International orders can take anywhere from 5 to 20 days to arrive. Additional time may be required for customs clearance.
TRACKING CONFIRMATION
Tracking numbers will be emailed to customers typically within 3-5 business days.
For optimal service and delivery, Opaekaa ships from warehouse locations around the world. Shipments containing more than one item may be split across different warehouses. These type of orders may receive several tracking numbers.
Please refer to your tracking information for the estimated delivery date of your order.
DELAYED & LOST PACKAGES
We cannot be held responsible for lost packages due to an incorrect mailing address provided by the customer. We cannot issue a refund if the package is lost due to an incorrect mailing address provided by the customer. If the package gets sent back to us due to an incorrect address, we will email the customer a store credit code of the total amount minus the cost of shipping. In addition, we cannot be held responsible for delayed shipping due to conditions beyond our control such as severe weather, service interruptions, federal holidays, etc. If you believe your package is lost and you provided the correct shipping address, please contact us here.
CUSTOMS & DUTIES
Customers are responsible for any applicable import duties, taxes, brokerage fees and additional customs fee upon delivery. These fees are determined by customs officials and are the responsibility of the buyer. For some international destinations, we offer prepaid customs options at checkout.
We cannot mark packages as gifts or classify products other than the internationally accepted commodity codes.
If a package is returned to Opaekaa because the buyer did not claim or pick up the package, we will only provide store credit for the product price; shipping charges will not be included or deducted when free shipping is offered.
The goods will be imported on behalf of the consignee/buyer. The consignee authorizes Opaekaa to import the goods on their behalf. Further, the consignee/buyer agrees that Opaekaa may delegate the obligation to import the goods on their behalf to a subcontractor (e.g. customs broker). The consignee will pay the taxes & duties in addition with the purchase price of the goods.
CANCEL & CHANGE ORDER
If you need to change or cancel an order that you just placed, please email us at support@opaekaa.com immediately. Due to the high volume of orders we get, we cannot guarantee that we'll be able to change or intercept your order in time.
SHIPPING RATES
Orders of $150 or more ship FREE to the Worldwide
DOMESTIC SHIPPING RATES
Orders under $150 have a $7 or $20 flat rate, depending on the items purchased. Small items, like accessories, ship at $7 flat, while larger items, like instruments and cases, ship at $20 flat on orders under $150. To qualify for free shipping, the order subtotal (after any applied discounts and before taxes) must be $150 or greater.
SHIPPING RATE: INTERNATIONAL
We offer worldwide shipping for orders placed on opaekaa.com. We use real-time carrier shipping calculations at checkout to determine the price of shipping. Rates are calculated based on your ship-to location, the weight, and size of your order. We extend our carrier-negotiated, discounted rates in order to give you the best pricing possible. If you do not see available rates during checkout, it may mean we are not able to ship to your address. If this happens, please contact us to see if we can help.
CARRIERS
We ship primarily with UPS and FedEx to ensure up-to-date tracking information and reliable delivery. International orders may be shipped via DHL depending on the Ship-to country. On occasion, we will use USPS for small accessory orders if our fulfillment team determines it to be reliable and expedient for the specific order size and ship-to location.
